The BilinguaSing story
iHola! My name is Ellie and I’m the founder of BilinguaSing.
I’ve been teaching languages (Spanish and French) since 2003, with my experience ranging from Early Years all the way through to secondary school level.
In 2012 I became a mummy to my first of 3 babies, Seren, who completely changed my world! I love learning and teaching languages, and I believe a second language is one of the most precious gifts we can give to our children.
Babies have an incredible capacity to absorb languages, and the crucial window of opportunity is 0 - 6 months.
However, when I tried to find a language class for Seren there was nothing around. That’s how my first baby class, Baby Loves Spanish, began.
Soon there was a demand for classes for toddlers and pre-schoolers; and it wasn’t long before nurseries and primary schools were calling up asking for classes, too.
French, German and Italian were added to the mix, and in 2014 the name 'BilinguaSing' was born to encompass the variety of ages and languages we offer.
