I am a secondary school Modern Foreign Languages teacher where I teach both Spanish and French. I have been teaching for many years and I really enjoy seeing children’s enthusiasm for learning a second language.
Early on in my teaching career it became very clear to me that the children who are fortunate enough to have had early exposure to languages, tend to enjoy, be more confident and thrive in class.
When my daughter was born, I, like many first-time parents, discovered the world of parent and baby classes. I loved them! I went to a BilinguaSing class and I was in my element (my daughter too, of course!) The classes provide younger children, toddlers and babies with the introduction to a language through music, songs and movement. The class I attended really inspired me and I decided that I wanted to be part of the BilinguaSing family!
I now have two children aged 3 and 6 who both love learning languages with me at home, through song and dance. They absorb new information so quickly and their enthusiasm amazes me.
I am excited to offer engaging, fun and captivating Spanish sessions to young children and I look forward to seeing them develop their imagination, confidence and passion for languages.
