¡Hola! Salut!

Me llamo / Je m'appelle Adele, and I am excited to be delivering BilinguaSing French and Spanish classes in Solihull, Sutton Coldfield and the surrounding areas!

From an early age I have always been fascinated by other languages and cultures and was fortunate to have some great language teachers that facilitated my learning of French and Spanish in school.

I went on to do my degree in Modern Language studies, in French, Spanish and Italian, taking part in the Erasmus year abroad. I gained so much from this, working 6 months in Disneyland Paris and spending the rest of the year studying in the beautiful city of Granada, southern Spain.

Since then I've worked in the Sales and Export industry in the UK, using my languages on a daily basis, and have made some life long friends from around the world.

I had my first child in 2014 and really wanted him to learn another language, although I wasn't really sure where to start. We attended a language class when he was 2 years old for a few months where he learned quite a lot, especially singing the songs, but I struggled to continue the learning outside of the classroom.

Fast forward a few years and our second son was born, I knew I wanted to do better and from a much earlier age. A friend recommended BilinguaSing classes they'd attended so we gave it a go.

There wasn't one in our local area so we travelled 30 minutes to get there each week because my son and I loved it so much. The classes were really engaging and we already knew most of the songs in English, so that helped me with learning the Spanish versions and to continue reciting them each day with my boys at home.

At 20 months old he is starting to count and say multiple words in Spanish as well as singing along to the songs.

Having first hand experience of the learning process I knew this was what I wanted to do going forward as a career, so a few months later I started my own business with BilinguaSing! I'm thrilled to be able to share my love of languages with lots of other children and of course their adults who are learning along with us too!
